Full Steam Ahead

Full Steam Ahead is a VR arcade endless runner game for Oculus/Meta Quest, where you're in control of a steam locomotive set in the wild west.

As the train's Fireman shovel the coal into the fire pit to raise pressure in the boiler and monitor the pressure levels. As the Driver, control the throttle and brake lever to adjust the speed of the train accordingly to the track condition. Watch out! Sharp turns will make your train derail. And as the Gunner, fend off any enemies that are out there to get ya! 

The game features a fully voiced tutorial, that introduces the game mechanics to you. If you don't feel like listening, you can just throw the radio out of the window!

The game was a submission to the 16th edition of ZTGK competition in June 2024 in Virtual Environments category.
